Hi, i have a 2005 wrx sti type uk, i bought a suspension set off a WR1 Sti 2004 model with prodrive springs, the rear shocks fit ok, but the fronts look identical but the part of the shock where it attaches with the 2 bolts to the hub is too narrow, the hub on the vehicle is 30mm wide but the shock slot is only 26mm,i have tried everyone even CamSkill, but he says i cant get aftermarket ones ie KYB, can any one advise as ones from the Subaru dealer have three zeros behind the price!!!!

wr1 shocks won't fit a 2005 sti due to the wider track. The rears should not fit neither as the hubs are different.

 

the rears are like for like, only problems with the fronts, do you have any idea what i should do mate??? cheers Johnny

 

Nothing you can do they won't fit you need to buy one from a 2005 STI. Whats up with your current shocks?
