Default Just renewed my insurance nearly fell off chair

Had my renawl through from green light an was quoted £775, considering last year i paid about £650 thought i would have a look around.
Im 26, 8years protected no claims, owned car since 2008, 1 claim in 5 years, no points, wife (on policy too, no claims or points), home owner and have a MY00 impreza with few modifications;
exhaust
Alloys
Intercooler
panel filter
Dump valve
Strut Braces
lowered on Eibachs

Did the usual companies/guys mentioned on here, but they were all coming out around £730ish, then i spoke to Sky insurance.

£657 excess of £350, couldnt get me card out quick enough to pay the bloke lol

Thank you Sky

Mine's gone from 300 to 800 in the last 2 years! I'm 32 with 7 years NCB. That's a good deal.

definately worth giving them a call, not sure if its because they are nearly at the end of the month and trying to hit targets. Take advantage, they have been taking advantage of us for years lol

Used sky this year myself after my insurance doubled for no reason. Driving 12 years, 12 years ncb.

Matt and Luke really looked after me. Can't recommend them enough.

My insurance went up from £550 last year to £620 this year with A-plan, Moley was £20 cheaper but for the sake of £20 and moving I decided to stay with A-plan, sky could only offer me £850, you win some you lose some

It doesn't help when people live in the higher crime areas!

MOVE HOUSE! However that may mean in real terms your increase in cost has just been £100k for the year.

Car insurance has generally just gone up for most this year I think, some people have managed to get cheaper deals but most people I know have had to pay a bit extra
