New Hawkeye STI type UK PPP owner - question
Hi
I bought my hawkeye STI type UK PPP last week. Loving it more each day! I have a question, can you normally hear the standard "blow off" valve when you change gear on a standard / un-modified PPP? It's not very loud but there is a definite hiss in the background when you accelerate hard and change gear. I always thought the standard blow off valve was re-circulating (meaning it would be silent) as opposed to one that dumps the pressure to the "atmosphere"? This is my first impreza so am still learning
I bought the car at a main dealer and was assured it was all standard (other than the PPP).
Thanks for any info.

I have the non PPP version for yours, and have the same sound with mine. As mentioned above, its nowhere near as loud as a vent to air DV, but is noticeable if you are listening for it.
