Question

Anyone know what price this should be - booked in Lancaster Pangbourne next Tues at cost of £480.

Is this reasonable? Is it the cambelt replacement?

Thanks
Paul

Exclamation

My friend paid £450 for it Mill Lane Engineering in Basingstoke about a fortnight ago.

But I think he had some other minor work done as well.

Might be worth trying Cheam Motors, if you are a SIDC member, you will get 10% off.

Hope this helps

Yeah 225 spot on, some dealers operate on 200% mark, I was quoted 400 odd as well...*****! I don't know who I dislike more the scum who vandalise our cars or crook dealers.

At the 30k they change the filter and charge you £25 for the pleasure, Why not take the opportunity to change to a better one (ITG anyone? )

lo pg mabley

we paid £300 for our 30000 miles service at s+s services in ayr.

in that price was also included a front set of brake pads as well, the price for the pads was £88 including the vat so when deducted service was really £212 not to bad from a main subaru dealer.

no this is not the re-placement of the timming belt that gets done at 45000 service at a cost of roughly £550
