Dave's absolutely right! Near Tesco's!! I think that they have only just started selling SUL, and it maybe on cheap as a special offer, I am not totally sure!
Anyway, Mr Jawa, I have a PinkyRed (the horrible colour that everyone goes on about, but it is actually quite nice!! )MY00. I work just round the corner from tesco's and the Total Garage! I used to work at the Fujitsu/ICL place in Bracknell.

ScoobyJawa,
Yes it is worth it on your MY99 without mods.
Scrappy2,
Yes stick it in your MY94.
I had an engine rebuild last year to try and resolve what turned out to be a non-engine related problem . They showed me all the crap that had built up around the valves and the independent engine specialist in attendance said that most of it was down to the low quality fuel you get these days........and I run on Shell SUL!!!! Christ knows what the heads would look like on NUL . I'm with Stef on this one, the extra cost is negligible and the petrol you use should be taken as seriously as the oil you use.

My Car MY00 UK Turbo 8000 miles
Full Scoobysport Exhaust
K&N Induction Cone
Last Night for the first time I filled up with Super Unleaded Esso instead of the usual BP Unleaded I use it was 2p A litre more (wow)
Questions -
1. Will I notice any difference ?
2. What do I look for ?
3. Do I need to reset my ECU ?
4. will I get better MPG ?
5. Is it worth it ?

Yes

Smoother acceleration and tick over.
3. Do I need to reset my ECU?
Not on a car as recent as yours. The MY00 ECU will learn very quickly.
4. will I get better MPG?
I get about another 30 miles from a tank.
5. Is it worth it?
Yes I think so. I get a smoother running car and I consider the extra miles per tank as an acceptable trade off. The higher octane fuel must be better for the car aswell.

Just to but in! I live in Finchampstead, and I always use the Total in Wokingham, closest for me for Super Unleaded. I totally agree with Otis. I started off on normal unleaded, then changed to SU on MY99, piper cross induction kit, Magnex from the exhaust manifold back (middle cat removed), and it definitely makes a difference.
Cheers,
Chris

Except there is stil an 8p per litre difference in my neck of the woods!
