sticking origin B2 to dash board problem
what can i use, bought No More Nails super strong sticky tape roll last night.. guess what.. waste of £5.48 doesn't even try to stick to the dash board.
Sti Hatch dash.. slight texture but quite tight on the grain so I'd thought it should stick,
Don't want to drill!!!
is the other option a bit of silicone... as that can always be peeled back off?
How do others stick the B2 to the dash?

You used to be able to get replacement sticky pads from Origin ( Now Pogo) other than that try rear view mirror pads or double side tape used for sticking on number plates.
Make sure you clean dash first with a drop of alcohol or lighter fuel.

The mount in the Scoob is attached to one of the centre vents. For the one in the Smart, I just made up a bracket that lets it sit just to the right of the pod, fixing is on the underside of the dash. No sticky tape required.

Number plate pads already tried, even some really sticky pads for neons too.
I'm trying two blobs of black silicone as we type I've removed the lower bracket and stuck it on and will leave to set, it has no presure on it so we'll see if it will hold.
all the hard to hide wires I hidden.. up window pilar trim etc.. the easy bit.. sticking the main unit on the dash is the hard bit
