Default realy need some help asap please.

alrite im new on here so i dont no if this is in the right section. i just wounded if any one can give me some good advice i was goin up a hill last night in 2nd pretty high in the revs and then i just lost all my revs and then it cut out iv taken the ht lead off and turnd it over ther isnt a spark i just want to know if ther is any way of checkin the engine codes with out with start starting and running. the car is a 96 classic wrx i hardly know any thing about these engines are cars so please try and make it simple thanks.

so are those the codes for a 96 wrx? has any one els has a problem like this any ideas to what it could be? thanks

right i have done that and it is flashing 13 witch is Camshaft position sensor can somebody tell me weather it means the sensor has just gone down are if its because sumthing bad has happend? cheers.

the code readers read electrical faults mate, so you'll poss find it just needs a new cam sensor

has any one got any idea where i can find this sensor as i havent aclue where to even look? thanks for the help mate.

looking at the engine from the front its on the right hand cylinder head just above the cambelt cover

would you say its easy to get to? and do i have to reset any thing once this has been changed? thanks

very easy, and advisable to reset, that way you can check to see if you fixed your problem

ther was a wire that must have been earthin it out but i cleand the sensor any way and it started straight away so its all good. thanks
