Is any one going to Le Mans in June?

I have found a ferry for £85!!!

But I need Race Tickets and camping etc, is there a convoy going down there?

I am not sure what car to take? sorting out breakdown cover for France, has any one got info on this?

 

YES SIR! i posted an article on the spotted in bristol rd gloucester thread to the same end, i am trying to organise an outing and around 5 mates are coming... Please forward me details of the ferry tickets, as the cheapest way we found was on the chunnel....

 

p.s. my RAC membership has sucessfully covered me with onward travel and getting the car back from guernsey, ring them and ask!!

 

talk to jon reeves from Bike2Track, he may have a better deal for you on ferries.

Jon can arange one off RAC european cover for you very cheeply, no problem on a 7 type car either.

As to race tickets/Camping. I found the cheepest way was to buy the tickets there at the oficial booths around the circuit. Camping space can run out if you get there late in the week, if thats the case you best book in advance.

Take the 7, dont be a wimp.

 

If there is a group of you going and you want some camp site space make sure you're there on Wednesday - if not Tuesdays - to make sure you get some room.
