Hi I was wondering what sort of price bracket should a fairly standard Bug WRX be in if it were
a) under 50k miles
b) under 90k miles
c) over 100k miles
Oh and what tax bracket do they sit in?
Cheets ears

About what I was thinking. Theres one around the corner thats prob about 1k over price. I'll keep an eye on it till they drop the price
£134 for 6 mths, youch! Mind you my classic was £205 for 12 mths! (I miss my TDCi Fez when it comes to taxing, it was £30 a year

Good post gives me an idea what to put mine up for, standard engine just carbon bonnet and high rear spoiler, bigger back box, inovit redlines and boby kit, was thinking about £4000 for mine, so sounds about right with 90k 2 owners and history.
Was thinking £4k ono for mine:
2001 WRX with Hybrid TD04, mapped by Andy F, H&S exhaust with sports cat and Prodrive bb plus other supporting mods (301bhp on a warm day), Bluestuff pads, Prodrive springs and Whiteline ARB. 95k miles with FSH, same owner for 5 yrs.
Do you reckon that's reasonable guys?

Pretty standard? Have a look at the mods again. Std ones are 215bhp with soggy suspension and no brakes!

How can someone from Broxburn be such an expert anyway?

If its green you might have a problem - green Imprezas just do not sell.

And as far as your car concerned, it doesn't have brembo's, it doesn't have a 6 speed box, it doesn't have good power, it doesn't have coilovers, basicly its pretty much standard.
Prices of everthing are rock bottom at the moment and its not a good time to sell, but on a plus point if you have to sell cheap you can buy cheap too so its not as bad as it seems
I'm putting mine up for sale in a month or so when I've fitted a new clutch as it's starting to slip a little but as a gx goes it's a really good un 18in momo wheels in black must be worth some and does above 30 mpg so what shud I list it for ad rather keep it than give it away

Doh! It's sensibly modded which may well appeal to some!Whilst I don't deny it's not "massive power", 300bhp is hardly std and I can assure you that the car goes, corners and stops far better than it did as std.
