PPP Group Buy?

Could we please avoid the smart comments if you want to contribute a simple "yes in principle" will do. I don't honestly need to know if you think a discount is unlikely.

For information only at this point I would like to test the water and see how many people would be interested in this idea.
The notion I have is to approach Prodrive Direct or to approach a dealer who would negotiate with PD on our behalf.
It might better to manage this idea offline (i.e. by e-mail rather then this public bbs).
The price would have to be right for me to buy one and if we can't secure a volume discount then I won't be interested.
Any interested parties?

I am interested if we can negotiate a good discount. You'll probably find a dealer who'll do a discount on his margin but Prodrive might not like setting any precedents by giving up some of their margin. The overall margin for this product has got to be huge and obviously alot of play is made on the Prodrive name, OK fair enough, they have the credentials.

1 point though.
I want the full PPP, not just the ECU. i.e. done properly at prodrive.
The reason I would buy the PPP is to maintain the resale value, something I feel you would loose with just the chip.
Also, I would suggest we come up with a price, and approach dealers to say "we have a minimum of x cars to be done, the maximum we are willing to pay is £x, and you are in a bidding war for all these cars, against other dealers."
that way they will have some numbers to work with. i.e. they may work on making a margin of £100 on 20 cars is better than maybe 2 people coming in off the streets and making 2x£400.

Yeah I'd be interested in the full PPP, assuming it's a reasonable price and that my insurance company will allow it!

Just spoken to Privilege re getting the PPP... they want another £62 for the remaining 6 months of this year. No increase in XS.
