Type 25 mk11 or modded spec c?
Hello
I see that Litchfield can mod a spec c to type 25 mk11 performance for £35k all in.
What would it take to bring a standard spec c up to that level in terms of parts, costs and fitting?
Would there be any difference in terms of performance/reliability?
Thanks

sorry our website is a little out of date. We have stopped building the Mk2 Type-25. We can upgrade a Spec C to suit your requirements but it would not be a Type-25.
Feel free to call if you have any questions.
Kind regards
Iain

In reply to your question/post on my profile: (not sure if you saw it):
"The Mk2 Type25 made approx 420bhp IIRC and the engine was developed & made by Cosworth \ Litchfield, great car & prices reflect this. A Hawkeye Spec C in relatively standard from (Stage1 mods such as mine) could produce up to a maximum of 340 to 360bhp with approx 360 to 400ft/lbs torque. Which in a light weight twin scroll, AWD setup is quite ballistic! If you wanted upwards of 370bhp then IMO the latest Litchfield developed range of twin scroll turbos are the new way forward. (IMO a simpler and more cost effective way to get to Type 25 power levels). What these turbos can achieve is remarkable & unless you are planning to go over approx 450bhp then the standard JDM engine will be fine. If you wanted to go over this figure then the engine internals may need uprating. Simple stage 1 mods will cost approx £1,000 to £1,300 but you may have to also factor in a new clutch at some stage. For the Litchfield turbo setups they are the best people to advise you themselves. Goodluck."
