Anybody had any experience removing these - are they easy to get off? Is the paintwork underneath affected or does it have a "picture on the wall" type of effect?

 

My MY2000 had my company website stuck on the bootlid and a Nurburgring sticker round the keyhole.

When it was time to go back to the contract hire people I spend about 15 minutes with a hairdryer and some white spirit to get the whole lot off.

Not a mark remained

Hairdryer is the best way, mine came off really easy

 

Yup, hairdryer it is! Then a bit of white spirit to get the remaining glue off, then polish it up. Worked on my STI

Bit of WD40 can help remove really stubborn glue residue, but I agree with the old hairdryer technique.
