can anyone give some advice on how easy tthe front subframe are to remove and if any special tools are needed

can you do it with engine still in ???

also where to buy one from ??

mines just failed mot as its nearly in 2 peices

 

20 minute job, undertrays off, Front Bolts off, then multiple 17mm x10 (IIRC) bolts off and it will drop

Will look like this...

 

20 mins to remove than main front subframe ???

or just the c shaped part


i need to replace the main subframe and the c shaped frame aswell

 

Got ya, crossed wires mate, was talking front C-piece. Special tools, a ramp

any clue on what special tools are needed and if the engine needs to come out
