Default paranoid new owner?

ok so i am prob's getting uber paranoid

the car runs fine, well seems to ive not had one to benchmark it against :P well apart from a really realy bad one for 10mins at a dealer

anyhow ive noticed that theres some white vapour frm the exhaust when its started from cold
now i know this is pretty normal for a car, hot exhaust, cold air etc etc

but it does seem to be like it pretty much all the time
although i tend to do really short journeys atm (just over amile, and i know not good for the car )

ive got alonger journey tomorrow, so will see what its like then

the only thing thats getting me paranoid is teh faint whiff of oil in the garage when i go and get the car in the morning
and possibly a faint whiff of oil on the vapour

might just be me i guess.... unless anyone knows something i can check

(ive looked at the oil level once so far and seems alright)

If only a mile, might not be getting hot enough, so just burning condensation off.

Does the car have a stainless exhaust? I've heard they can get bad for condensation on cold mornings my car has One and it's been prity smokey for the last few months but when I get it up to temp it clears.

Aye just tend to have a nack of choosing cars with a hidden history heh

I've a 55 Plate hawkeye STI in Black, with about 26k miles on it and completely standard
although im thinkin of getting new or refurbed alloys as they are kerbed to **** :/
and maybe swapping the rear lights to some blob eye lights
tryin to hold off the mapping, but im not sure how long ill last heh

only really have one decent pic so far, only had her 2 weeks

Get used to being paranoid, I have been from the moment I got mine out of the dealers when I bought it! It doesn't lessen!

But enjoy a fantastic car!

Edit: Posted this before I saw a pic of the car... Thats a beauty!!!!!!!!!

aye i usually do walk, but work are talking about reclaiming some parking spaces, so im making sure mine stays with me but driving in for the last few weeks :s

on occasion the drive home tends to get extended for a quick blast in the country

and the exhaust is the standard STi exhaust afaik
