Had a quote for PPP from dealer Keith Price in Abergavenny South Wales.
£1400+ VAT (£1645)

CVC in Cardiff is £1800+ VAT (£2115)

Way such a big difference in price?
I did confirm the price as I thought it was alot cheaper an most

KP seems very tempting
But having the car away to Prodrive for a couple of days is going to kill me!

Wink

Andy

I see you on the BBS all the time,
Don't you need to work?
I run a computer company so no one tells me to get off the computer!!

Anyway see you got most things for the scoob,
pratically nothing else to upgrade!

Does the PPP make that much difference?
What are the torque/BHP?

Well, it's the luxery of being unemployed at the moment! Although when I was working I was posting about as much!!!

Anyway facts and figures on my MY99 car.

Increase from MY99 ECU to MY99 PPP ECU:

BHP increased by 7bhp - 264bhp (PPP) 257bhp (standard)
Torque increased by 15 lbft - About 260lbft (IIRC)

Boost held has gone from 14.5psi to 16psi. Peak boost has gone from 17psi to 18.5psi.

Doesn't sound like a lot, but you can feel the difference!!

Doesn't sound like a great deal, but the fuelling is a lot better (more) on the PPP, which will allow my future plans of a boost controller!!

The car was not standard before, the other bits on the car are:

ScoobySport Downpipe
ScoobySport Backbox
Magnex Mid-section with a resonator
Unifilter RamPod Air Inductor
MRT cold air feed pipe (to replace airbox resonator)
Prodrive Intercooler Hoses
Forge Recirculating Dump Valve

The figures on the rolling road were taken when the ambient temperatures were around 12 celius. My previous reading of 271bhp/249lbft with the standard ECU was taken when the ambient temperature was 3 celius.

Hope this helps
Andy
