hi, what are peoples opinions on the early mcrea recaros ,are they as good as the v3 or v4 sti seats,or are they a bit to retro,thanks

 

My experience of them is limited, but it tells me that quite a lot of the Recaro hype is just that. There have been instances of the ones in the newage cars suffering fast deterioration and Recaro/IM/Subaru didn't want to know.
My lad has a Clio 197 sport, the Renault built seats are rated as better QUALITY than the optional Recaros, although people still want Recaros for the name.

Go figure.

 

I always thought that the UK300 seats were by far the best of any scoob IMHO. They were different from the standard car and different again to the new age STi's. Don't know how well they have worn over the years though
