Hi all, new here!
Hi all,
I've just bought my new car, a WRX UK300 picked her up this morning!
I previously owned a twin turbo MKIV supra and although it was quicker the scooby certainly handles better and is more practical.
Does anybody know how I could find out what number mine is as the previous owner didn't have the plaque that gets issued?

Welcome Vicky
Is this the 2001 or the 2005 UK 300?
Also before the rest of the boys ask, can we have a picture of the car and if your in that picture they may stop bugging you until you do put a pic of yourself up

Did you end up with one of the UK300's with the PPP (Prodrive performance pack, takes the power upto 245bhp) or is it still standard?
Nice supra, always liked those, remember playing one of the computer games back in the early 90's and that was always the car I chose
(though in red
)

Start with the brakes Vicky, they are really bad on the wrx's
worse on the JDM ones as they were 2 pots on that year
then it depends where you want to go from there, best shot is not to do much with the PPP fitted, you can take the ecu out and get a 2nd hand one off ebay for not much money, have that remapped, the exhaust on your car is actually quite nice, not too loud until its opened up a little
then decat/remap, bin the up pipe cat (horrid thing which has a nasty habbit of destructing itself), you should then add a panel filter (K&N, Green, STI or Cosworth, last 2 are service items and where as the STI one is my favourite, they cost like 70 quid and last 2 year or 20k miles before you need to change em!, cosworth is half the price, first 2 you can clean), then you should be looking at 270-280bhp on the standard turbo, add an uprated fuel pump and that will probably do you until you get bored of that power
then sell up and buy an STI or it will cost you a fortune!
