my friend is selling his cashmere yellow sti v6 soon (I think he is silly) for a really low price, it only needs a couple of bits doing on it, it had a scoobyclinic rebuild a few thousand miles ago for around 3k. he said he is going to sell it for 3500!

To the OP - the steering wheel looks a bit worn for only 40K miles.

IMO, I'm not keen on silver so would wait until you find the right car in the right colour. Don't be too eager to spend your cash.

I really like the dark mica blue colour but I'd really only be totally happy with sonic blue - sadly EU/UK models are quite rare.

How is the colour holding up? I really like Cashmere Yellow but the paint seems to have faded on quite a few over the years.

Best thing is wait till you have seen it in the flesh. I just bought another scoob after a small break and so I know how hot under the coller your probably getting

What you have just told me sounds OK, but as someone else pointed out about wear on the wheel - go look see and make sure. Also, again as someone else said about the colour, if it isn't exactly what you want then I would def stop and have a think.

My first scoob was dark blue classic - I wanted a sonic blue with gold wheels. My second scoob was silver - I wanted a blue one with gold wheels and so my third scoob was a sonic blue classic with gold wheels.. this was within a two year period. Total waste of money!

Don't do it to yourself, everytime you see the one you really wanted when you're out driving you'll get that pang of desire or... whatever it is, it sucks the big one I can tell you

.
didn't spot the wheel, fair point but could be due to a poor driving style?

i'm at an advantage - in Germany so can't rush out and buy the 1st car i like, lol and i've still gotta shift m Astra

If someone has been a bit keen with a jetwash I guess so, I don't believe the mileage though
