I know it was asked about a couple of weeks ago, but has anybody got any firm details yet, the dealer who i have ordered through is still in the dark???

Ordered my special edition a couple of weeks ago.My local dealer spoke to Subaru yesterday and confirmed the following spec to me: Rally Blue, Special Trim, 18" Gold Alloys, Headlamp Conversion, New Designed Front & Rear Spoilers, PPP, Limited to 300.

Mark S, thanks for the spec. what price have you been quoted?, i was told around 25k (same price as RB5).

 

Yes mate about 25K.Order 1 now, my dealer has only 2 left out of a total of 7!

I see that you have the spec for the Special Edition, was this an estimate from your dealer or is this it ?
sounds quite good
My dealer still does not know anything, the price seems ok for what you are getting.

Has anyone else heard anything ?????

SuperGlue, as mentioned earlier, at the moment my dealer is still not 100% sure on spec or if 25k will include PPP but we live in hope!

I have everything crossed LoL, if it does not come with PPP and is still 25K then I will perhaps buy something else.

Chins seems to know what the low down is on the Special Edition, think he has an inside source ???

My dealer is looking for delivery around end of April.

 

Wish I did have a good inside source. Some people claim they are in the know and then state the car will have BBS alloys. Prodrive only use Oz. Not sure if the final spec has been confirmed to dealers yet. One thing that has is that it will be END OF MAY most likely. So if your 4/5 on a dealer list then your looking at July/August before you get a car. It would be great if it came with the above mentioned spec for £25k, fingers crossed. IM will probably take untill next month to finalise it.

Living near Quedgeley in Gloucestershire where all Subarus are distributed from I'll soon spot the MY01 WRX limited. Must be at least 20 P1's lined up at the moment. If you hang around for too long the security goons soon get interested.

 

Hi All,

I am sorry to say that I have found out after a lot of questions to different people, that the true details or the price of the special edition have not been released by Prodrive /Subaru UK .If you have been told different someone is fibbing !
All I could find out for sure is that the Special Edition will be getting larger Wheels 18" type not Known as yet the colour will be the WRX blue.
Head lights will be changed, not sure if exactly WRC. Alcantara bucket seats.
A larger spoiler and some mods to the front bumper section. everything else is speculation / wishful thinking
I will possibly find out more early next week.
