If it had been a normal scooby it would have blown up at 120mph so no he wouldn't have got caught LOL

It's a cracking vid though, and his punishment was a tad harsh !

Thats one rapid motor, love the speed he's carrying through the bend at 2 mins 36 secs, the copper uses the other side of the road coming out of the bend and on the straight the evo's gone - quality.

He got banned because he entered th 40mph carrying too much speed...... other than that there was nothing wrong with his driving or what he did.

He went to court but pleaded guilty because he knew he had done something wrong, if he had pleaded innoccent then the video would have been played as evidence and I suspect he would have got a lesser telling off.

And the copper apparently said that if he'd been on Manx plates, he wouldn't have bothered with him.

There would seem to be a lesson there.

i think we all know it was a fair cop as far as getitng cuahgt, but, was very harsh to actualy do him for it when a warnign would have prob made him back off sooner after that.

is the ban stand in the uk? is it only a ban from isle of man?

Nice drive! Did that bike struggle.

I would have expected him to of pulled him sooner rather than later. But then again, the bike was unmarked so probably was not equiped to stop him (blues+twos). And had he tried, the driver may of interpretated it as an invite to race and gone even faster.

A bit sneeky by plod imho...

To follow him like that after being overtaken at 50mph... a good barrister would have played the provocation card... any bike that speeds up from 50 to 140 then stays in your rear view mirror is inciting he wants a race and is expecting you to go faster...

he was unlucky to carry too much speed into the 40pmh zone... but again..prob distracted by the bike chasing him... bad show all round plod

Where did it say he got caught etc? .. Must have missed it.

But yeah, seems a bit harsh of the copper.
