Default running problems

hi to all. i have a 1999 scooby 2000 and having a little problem with how its running and looking for a bit of advice. Every time i put the peddel to the floor it is struggling to pull through the gears, its as though it is struggling to get enough fuel through and sometimes i can actually smell petrol as well. the car as been surviced about a thoushand mile ago so i know that is all good. on tick over and normal driving all seems ok and it does happen most when in fourth for some reason. Any advice is welcome as ive run out of ideas.

overboost?? i think the car give most its boost in forth?? (not sure tho??) if yours is happening most in forth theres a good chance its a boost issue?

have you put any silicone hoses on and not fit the ristrictor pill? no boost leaks? do you have a boost gauge fitted? if so whats the boost running?

try cleaning the boost solinoid?

guide is here..http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/index.p...ontrolSolenoid

im sure some 1 will be along shortly to help with more knowledge than me,, there a helpful lot on here..
