Spec C is lighter stronger and a more raw STI.

Spec D is a standard STI but with a leather interior and low level spoiler. I'm not sure but they might have front fogs too.

The Impreza has always had a "hardcore" model. originally RA (RA = Race Altered), then Spec C (C = Competition), then Spec C RA (RA= Record Attempt at the 'Ring)............and so on.

The Spec D is the "Discreet" model and has a few more luxuries and no big wings LOL

Spec D - ltd edition, Crystal grey paint, Silver wheels, leather seats, black carpet, pioneer ipod/bluetooth radio, smartnav, low level spoiler, roof spoiler deleted, more sound proofing, front fogs - other than that, as per a normal Hawkeye STi

Spec C - 2 litre, lighter roof, aluminium bonnet, boot & lighter glass. no sound proofing, 12ltr water tank, auto IC spray, better suspension, roof vent... and a **** load of other stuff that the JDM cars got that the UK ones didn't.

They are very different cars, some googling will get you the answers you seek
