but also told me the Legacy has the new 2.0lt in and next year he reakons it will be developed for the STI,

Is this a backshift from the 2.5 ?

Yeh it might well be as they have developed a more efficent 2.0l engine which will meet E.U regs.

There was a post a couple of weeks back, totally new gasoline direct injection units, a 2ltr and a 2.5ltr, hopefully the 2.5 isnt a bored out 2ltr and is a new block

they probably trying to get it below 225co2 so it lowers the tax by half, think eu demands an average co2 from car manufacturers as well, so it needs to come down to keep sales in europe.

 

yeah have to admit my recent remonder from the DVLA for 400 notes hurts some what, taking into mind my old baby was 150 for 12 months :/ but then again it was ****eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
