I just recently been having problems with my wrx. The turbo decided to stop working and diagnostic machine cant find a fault a friend had the same problem and changed his M.A.F sensor and it sorted his. I have just put a new one on and no change does anyone have any suggestions?

in what way has it stopped?
if its the actual turbo i dnt think a diagnostic machine will find a problem

 

hi thanks for for the reply the turbo has just stopped kicking in it hasn't seized nor have any of the pipes going to it split i have not got a clue about engines a friend has looked at it for me a mechanic is having a look at the turbo itself to see if it has cracked or something any other suggestions would be more than appreciated.

 

try the actuator on the side of the turbo as this controls the boost side
