Didnt know where to put this, but wanted to know how much you chaps think I would have to spend to buy a Blue (STI Blue), 2004 WRX, average miles, Prodrive performance pack, in good condition?
Thanks very much for your input.

Money spent 6 years ago (£1600) does not translate to today. On a good day with a following wind maybe chip in £150 quid.
Counter that with a good service history (remember big cambelt changes are £600 a pop) then the PPP fades into history.
Also factor in the same gain can be had for peanuts today using opensource mapping and the PPP put on when my 5 year old lad was a twinkle in someone's eye is worth..............well, peanuts !

OK then I'll change it. Looks like someone has paid over the odds and doesn't like what people are saying it's worth.
As I said above, I'd value an 04 wrx ppp from £4k to £5.5k. Someone else said £6k. Another person might say £8k and another may say £3k. At the end of the day a car is worth what your or someone is willing to pay for it.

I didnt know whether I had paid over the odds or not, I paid less than £5500. I actually gave my 2003 wagon that had a boosting problem, bald tyres and some slightly different colour shaded doors, and £1400.
I wanted to get an impartial view, that why I worded the thread the way I did.

Not a bad deal then. 2003 wagon with problems, knackered tyres, dodgy paint and ave miles? I'd have though that's worth £1.5k to £2k, maybe £2.5k tops unless you get someone who has no idea what they are looking at and then the bit of cash you gave is a good deal imo.

The paint wasnt really dodgy, but, the front bumper, drivers door and passenger door, and the bootlid had definatly seen paint in the cars life, I know the bumper had, becuase I painted it, and it didnt come out as well as I would of liked. The wagon had 94,500 on it, and my new car has almost the same.
I just wanted some honest opinions as I have made mistakes with cars before and ended up on anti-depressents!
The new car is definatly more "honest" i've checked the car from top to bottom and wasnt able to detect signs of damage or paintwork being done.
