Default been offered scoob sti version 5

hi , ive seen this sti v5 on an r plate , running 331 bhp , not full history imported 2006 scooby clinic done a bit of work 75k in miles dont know what that is in kilometres, nice car but im just wondering and i know its hard what its value is as been offered a deal on my golf turbo n i rate that at 4grand , any advice would be great

R plate is wrong for version 5 sti. Early ones are S plate (late 98) otherwise they're T plate.

R plate should be version 4, unless there's been some dvla **** up

yeah it wil be a version 4 and if in good nick about 5000.00 grand and if that is a proper 75k that only about 45000 miles but id get some who knows there scoobys to check it over before you take the plunge dude

hi its 130k kilometres which im told is 75kmiles, also the person who offered me car stating its a 99 but dvla wernt happy wen imported with papers so re regd it as a 98 r, but engine number has been checked and it defo a version 5 engine, no jap history or service book but all mots since in uk and all paper work for all work carried out on car, ive had a few scoobs and got this golf to do the sensible bit n keep the missus happy but it just dont do it for me lol

also all the the import papers say 1999, i would walk away but car real pretty, had lots done , female owner she seems gen , she gave me all the vin numbers engine etc so i could give dvla a bell on monday , been looking around for bout 8 weeks for a decent scoob who wanted to trade with my golf ,

As said earlier, get someone who know,s their Scoob,s to look at it for you. Buy a bad one and it may cost thousand,s to put right. Steve.
