They are suppose to/do hold your boost better, higher up the rev range. However this is generally thought not to be a healthy choice for your engine. One reason why a mapper will tail off the boost at higher revs.
High revs+ high boost=
That said, forge stuff is usually top quality (in my experience) and i would fit one of these should my OE item ever go down. Set at OE pressure of course

Ok cool, that could be why my boost does tail off at high revs although to my knowledge my car hasn't been remapped. Do scoobys drop boost before redline?
