Default Bug eye morrette Hid's???

Hi all,
after thinking that i had solved the problem with the hid kit on my bug eye which was changing the relays, i was driving home at 1030pm on a back country road when i thought that my lights looked dim so i flicked on the high beam only to flick them off and all the lights go off .
the kit thats on at the mo( just main beam) was on when i bought it and it seemed to be put in a bit untidy and unproffessional, so im gonna change the lot with a new set so was woundering if anyone knows where best place to get a decent set im after main beam and high beam to fit a bug eye morrett light conversion with the most white and light output? what bulbs are they? is it gonna be a ebay job?
Hope someone can shine some light on my problem
