loud exhaust
when i get my sti i think i would like to fit a blitz nur spec r exhaust now by what ive read they are loud but how would they compare to a civic type r with a custom fit exhaust i only as as i used to own one and that car was LOUD ??

the blitz nur spec R system....i have one fitted to my car and it feels like you are sitting on the exhaust when driving it virbrates the trims and bits inside the car its so noisy on long journeys BUT on the outside it sounds awesome....i'vr put up with for 2 years now the sound is quailty compared with other exhausts

It depends on the use of the car i guess,i do 70+ often and HATE my Blitz Nur spec R with a passion !!!!!
around town, 40 and below,its awesome,great sound how it should be,BUT,the higher the speed the more crap it sounds !
if they had designed it for use above 70+ then it would be the ultimate exhaust,but they didnt and its not !

I've got a blitz nut spec S which is basically just the back box of the R without the resonated part, and it's very loud. But to be honest you get used to it.
Mines completely decay, and no resonators all mated up to the blitz back box. The spec are is 3 inch with a resonator centre section, but mines 2.5 inch unresonated with just the 3 inch back box mated up to it.

Rig mate, when you say the louder the crapper, do you mean 'farty'?
I find it gets raspy or farty at top end and sounds more like a superbike. Always wondered if it's just because I only have it as a back box without the centre resonator.
Low revs it's a beautiful slow thump sound. The best high rev box I had was hayward and scot. Low rev not so good
