Just like to say hello to everybody out there in Scoobyland.
Finally taken the plunge after many months and bought a Subaru to sit alongside my Caterham 7.
As residuals seem to be falling to sensible levels and dealers now are giving sane trade in figures, I have part ex. my Mk V1 RS 2000 against a '98 Prodrive.
I drove the Prodrive version right at the start of my search for a car and have always considered it to offer a little bit more than standard as regards drivability and outright go.
The test drive served to confirm this and the deal was done, a recent thread has been asking the merits of the Prodrive enhancment,
as a Scooby newcomer, all I can say is that I find the acceleration better, but the mid range in a different class. It might even push the Caterhan in that respect.
Hoping to pick up some tips from you guys.

Welcome JKJ - hope you enjoy your new car. You're obviously already a petrolhead, but you will find that the Scooby thing is just a bit addictive 
Get yourself along to a meet or trackday and have a blast! Don't know where you are in the country, but there is a meet tomorrow in the Fleet area (check out the Southern section for details)
