White for a Spec C just be sure that its the exact model your after, lots get sold on very quickly because people cannot live with them on a day to day basis so in one way your better off with the standard model (see the spec c thread).
There is little difference between the later cars, the weight is probably the main thing, the engines are very similar now with the exception of the turbo's (03/04 cars engines between the STI and Spec C had more differences).

For me it would depend on if I had owned a White or Blue car before. I've had 2 Black Imprezas and soon got bored [colour wise] with the 2nd one. I've always wanted a Blue Impreza but I think it would come down to which one has the best spec/cond etc as they are both cool colours.

White scoobs have always been in fashion
iscooby, go test drive one, make sure it has the standard exhaust on, it can drone inside the car, even on a weekend toy it may become annoying this is due to the lack of floor sound proofing, adding a "louder" exhaust may make it sound better on the outside (its quite quiet on the outside with the standard system, just not inside ) can make it worse, plus the suspension is stiffer on a Spec C over the standard STI, try turning up the stereo when your bouncing about a little
Drive one then decide, but take it for a good hours drive, 5 mins wont give you enough time to find all the bits that you may come to regret later (and ensure its undersealed nothing more worrying when you hear the stones etc bouning underneath the car then worrying if its damaging the pain )

Yeah thanks, Have driven both a Blob and a Hawk Spec C before and am aware of what they are like.
The car is completly standard currently but I'll be fitting EXE-TC fast road coilovers to it.
Will also make sure its undersealed.
