Because they are not the same wheels, they just look similar. The spoke design is very different in cross-section giving sufficient caliper clearance.

Question

I have a WRX with the RB5 wheels (they are badged as Speedline, not Prodrive)and in gold (stop it Pete before you even start )

What are they called? Prodrive would call them the RB5 wheel but they must be called something else by speedline.

Mike can you help?

Thanks in advance

In Japan they are called Reg-R and are ET48, whereas RB5 wheels are ET52. They are also the only spec available in that colour.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the reply Mike
Does this mean that the wheels are Japan spec. and is the ET ok for a Scooby? They were fitted after the car was imported.

Is the ET difference the only change (apart from the colour)

Cheers
Yee
