Did this one mine a long time ago before I changed to a 3" H&S and it sounded lovely. No noticeable performance gain but with it being less restrictive it can only be a good thing
Djwrx - Had the Afterburner De-resonated section fitted to my Prodrive backbox ..yes makes it sounds deeper
but boy did it drone , esp above 60mph
After a couple of weeks I couldn't stand it any longer, sold it and bought the Cobra 1 with the Sports Silencer , superb , so much better
and the finish and quality just as good as each other. Check Cobra's advert in the Authorised For Sale section on here with prices etc , good quick service too

It will make a difference as the system will be less restrictive, noisewise ,it will sound a touch louder.Taken from another post.
patsy 450 is your system fully decatted,as when I first fitted my vortex ,I had a decat downpipe ,and std centre(minus cat),& vortex. In the mornings I was able to push the bung in the exhaust without having to use the securing screw. Start the car up,drive out of my close and take the bung out 300 yds down the road.
When I fitted the afterburner straight centre section and started the car up with the bung inserted it flew out the exhaust and ended up 20 yds down the road ,and I had to use the screw to fasten it everytime I used it.
So it will definetley allow the exhaust gases a less restrictive exit
