Default Please help

I'm halfway through doing springs on my bugeye wrx and it was going too smoothly.

I can't shift the 2 bolts on the bottom of the shocker on either side. My next step is heat and shock gun.

My question is are they special bolts (like on the front or can I replace them with something of a similar size if I brake them or get the grinder out?

Cheers

Dan

you shouldnt have a problem removing them, they are tight no doubt, but a bit off brute force and ignorance will get them off,a decent socket and a long ratchet will come off by hand,if u are too weak lol then use a lump hammer and smack the ratchet handle.(without damaging ratchet.)or a spanner, ive never had any hassles with these bolts even on ford transits, older scoobs etc.good luck.

They are special bolts that are off centre to allow camber adjustment.
Try soaking them in WD40 for a couple of hrs and have another go. With the correct spanners/sockets they should come off. If all else fails, tray a nut splitter which should save the bolt being ruined.

Try soaking in WD40 then using 2 ring spanners (put the ring end of the second spanner over the open end of the first spanner)
