no mate. shouldnt cause you any problems. if you have bought a good one then this will be fine. i went for a metal one just because i knew i could make my own and i was doing remote power steering resivour relocation. but never had a problem with my old one collapsing and i was running 1.5bar

Samco one will be fine mate, its only cheap ebay specials that collapse and close up under boost.I bought one from demon motorsports about £80 which is very good quality and had no problems with collapse running 1.43bar boost so you will be fine bud.

you might find that your cars boost is different.

i chabged to samco from the maf to turbo (x2 hoses) and my car from what i remember made more peek boost as the air flow was better and had a small map tweek,

worth keeping a eye on

well youve put my mind at ease a little more i was worried id spent over 200 on something that was useless. Thanx for the replied cant wait to get it all together now. The hose ive bought is a one piece that goes to a pipe off the maf then has a couple of breathers/vacuums and striaght to the turbo. Its also a proper samco as i didnt want a cheapy one, so hopefully itll work

Can't quite understand why someone would say they cause you problems when coming off boost, when they are
Substantially stronger/ less restrictive than the oe items. I have fitted 2 in the last 6 months(1999-2000),and suffered no such issues, a tad expensive but quality normally is IMHO.
