" Rally legend Suabru has thrilled fans of its new Impreza by confirming the high performance STI will arrive in the UK in December, priced under £30,000. The four cylinder boxer unit will be detuned from 280 bhp to 260 bhp to pass emissions regulations. The manufacturer aims to make up for the power loss by adding a host of extras including a rear wing and gold alloy wheels.
Meanwhile, tuning expert Prodrive is to work on the WRX edition to create the WR Sport-badged model due for September debut. Prodrive will then turn its attention to the STI with a view to replacing the driver-orientated P1".

Or am I too synical?
Anyway - less than £30K, that about £23K in Europe then, whaoh well affordable thanks Subaru!

Does this mean that the Japanese and European versions will not have the wing or gold wheels, maybe Mr Lewis will get an import (sorry, just reading another thread about gold wheels)
