Default a few decat questions

Hi, i am after abit of advice about decats, i have a hawkeye wrx 07 plate any idea of cost? will i need my car remapped afterwards, anyone got one forsale? how much extra bhp etc thanks chris

im not sure about the remap but i would say it would be best to get one!
As for cost i got a full system for my hawkeye from the catback for 500 fitted at scoobyclinic, sounds lovely, but not sure if your neighbours will like it!

You will 100% need a re-map if you go for decat mate.

Another thing to bear inmind is MOT time, but seem to be plenty of shall we say "helpful" MOT testers about.
A hight Flow CAT is an option, tends to only have 2bhp lose over a full de-cat and is 100% legal/pass MOT.

another quick question all the decats are advertised as 3", my the rest of my system is 2.5" do they reduce to fit this cheers

Get hold of Harvey on here he is in Darlington.I had a couple of issues contacted him and he gave me some good advice.

you have to get a connection fitment which goes from 3" to the 2.5" .

No need for 3", if your after sensible power figures just go for a 2.5" from somewhere like Hayward & Scott
