Default Preface injectors where from??

As above apart from Roger Clark, where can I get 550cc Injectors from that don`t cost £500+??
Seems a daft price for a set of Injectors to me.

It's the Impreza tax mate. It's not like running a Vectra or something

welcome to the wonderful world of modding your impreza injectors are one of the cheapest parts.

you may actually find your better off buying new.

Lol the Denso`s on my Daihatsu Jeep cost less than these, and they are special order from Japan only!! Why so expensive tho Bosch are a LOT cheaper lol.

Well tbh most other parts are cheap in comparison, I mean take the headers on my Vectra to buy them new your looking at £750+vat without a cat, and thats only the manifolds and downpipes lol. I was thinking how relatively cheap the parts were then BANG injectors hit!! lol.

You could always try drilling them out to 740cc. I think a 1.5mm drill and a steady hand should do the job nicely

If you figure out a way of doing Imprezas safely and cheaply you'll become very rich indeed I'll bank roll it.

Imprezas are more of an illness than a hobby...

No but seriously, thinking of trying to fit some Bosch injectors lol.

Yeah but with rods and pistons the prices are gonna be high, but injectors.

As you can tell I`m a bit peeved that they cost so much, esp when you can buy similar for other turbo cars that are like 1/3 the price lol.

Yeah we feel you pain brother! We really do.

Well I guess it isn't rocket science. For example back in the day I found the Mk2 cavalier SRI shared the same (size and shape) bosch injectors as the Lancia I had. The lancia injectors were $$$ but cavalier injectors fitted perfectly... so that's what it had. Someone told me the fuel pump was the same as some Jag or other as well.

But given the cost of the rest of the Impreza engine if you get things really wrong I suppose it isn't worth the risk! They are a fairly crucial part of the equation after all... and the last thing you want to risk is a petrol leak blowing back towards the hot turbo!

One thing I have learned about Imprezas is that it doesn't pay to cut corners.

If you do go down that route I look forward to hearing about it. Best install a knock link and a fire extinguisher though!

Think I can only use side feed, so version 1-1.5-2 (with adapter), the new age ones are different.
