Default Alloy nut & locking nut removal - sheared & damaged

Got a bit of an issue - probably quite a big issue tbh

Had some work done and the garage that refitted the wheels has gone way overboard with torquing them up. Going to contact them and see what they will say/do but its been a few wks and I'm guessing they wont want to know

I have alloy nuts & McGuard lockers on all wheels

Anyways, 1st wheel got one sheared alloy nut, just about had enough shank left for me to remove.

2nd wheel - the locking key sheared (nut still intact & unmoved) so cant remove that now plus one alloy nut had sheared too. Its now flush with the counter bore and nothing I can do will turn it, as its alloy and such a high torque its just ripping/rounding whatever is left.

So any advice on how to deal with the 2 above would be great

Still have 2 wheels to remove the nuts from and terified of whats going to happen plus they both have lockers and the key is in bits plus majorly pissed off

Have you tried whacking on a smaller socket?

Also a couple of decent HSS drill bits and stud extractors may work.

Will cost you about 20 quid a wheel to get them removed, let them do it

I will be contacting the garage today - chances are since its been a few wks they will not want to know. May get them to remove the other nuts if they are willing.

Lockers I believe you can remove the outer shiney bit and just use an impact socket - will try that tonight.

Not sure what I can do about the sheared one as its almost flush with the counterbore? Being alloy it may split?
