Default What to do/Where do i stand.

Alright peeps

Here's my problem.

The bottom end in my 98 terzo started knocking in december so i took the car off the road to decide what to do, Rebuild or replace. In the end i decided to replace as the car ain't worth a rebuild in my eyes.

Last week i eventually found what i was looking for or so i thought! It was an ebay listing for a rebuilt engine 4 years ago and the picture was a phase 1.5 engine with the central coil pack, What arrived was a phase 2 engine with the coil pack to the right of centre.

What do i do?

Use the block and bolt my heads and that off my engine.
Find out what else would need swapped over to make it run in mine.
Send it back demanding a refund.
Sell it on.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Craig.

if the listing on ebay stated it was a 1.5 then you were miss sold item and you can claim that t
its not the item and they should refund your cash.send back and start again as bet that the engine is feked.
you need to watch as noticed with ebay that the pics and decription of engine all tie in but when you get engine its been pulled from a scrapper.one to watch.

Thanks for the reply bigchap.

It wasn't specified in the listing what phase it was but said 98 and had a picture of a phase 1.5.

Craig.

As said above, if it doesn't match the description then the seller clearly cannot be trusted and chances are the engine is ****ed. Email the seller asking for a refund - if they refuse, get PayPal or eBay involved.
