52mm pod to 60mm pod adaptor?

Default 52mm gauge to 60mm pod adaptor?

Does anyone make a 52mm gauge to 60mm pod adaptor plate? I need a triple pod one, or even 3 singles. If not Il have to waste a shedload of time trying to make one up!

Iv got Prosport 52mm gauges from XyberAutos that I want to fit in my lovely new Zerosports triple pod (60mm).

I wonder if 3 of these stuck to the inside of my pod might do the trick!!? But at 55mm the 52mm gauge may slip through the ring, must measure exact size of Prosport gauge including metal surround.

I made some years back mate...

Turned up some billet ally adapters to do just that job.

Or make some out of sheet plastic - preferable black or carbon look sheet. Just take your time cutting it

I think Scoobyworld do a triple dash pod that comes with adaptor rings so you can use either size gauge, they may be able to supply just the rings if you ask.

I was going to do this untill I found a carbon pod going cheap so just going to sell my 60mm pod.

Cheers for that RHYS, I just rang Scoobyworld. They said they used to modify the hoods supplied with e.g Prosport gauges & turn them around. I had some hoods which I did'nt use from my last Prosport gauges, I think I gave them away with my old car.

Rickya, did you get a solution for this in the end? I'm in a similar dilemma, wanting to fit 52mm gauges in 60mm pods

If I were in this position, I'd go to a loacl model shop and buy a sheet of 1.5mm thick styrene. It comes in sheets about 11" x 9".

Carefully cut it out for the GAUGES first, then shape to the pod. It can be fixed in place with dabs of Evo-Stik or Araldite.

As bought it's shiny/satin finsh, but can be sanded, or even painted to produce other fishes.
