Thanks, this is major problem im having here, took the car to scooby clinic because it was over boosting, they said its because its has a uprated turbo ( i have the vf22 ) they said the car needs mapping !! they say standard is td05 ?????

 

The VF22 comes standard on the 97 WRX import...I've got the same turbo on my car and had it mapped recently got 352bhp out of it. have you got a boost controller on your car?

 

No the car is standard except for decat and walbro

 

Right, I would suggest you get another opinion on this as there could be many other reasons for the car to be overboosting.

 

Schoolboy error. Im not their biggest fan; but Im surprised by that.
