Hey folks,
I have read this board for some time now and despite not owning a Scoob have found it informative and entertaining......right, thats just about enough a$$ kissing lets get down to the advice thing !
I have gone to look at a MY97 R, UK 5 door turbo, it has 75k with fsh and seems to be an all round good car. The car has seen its fair share of farm roads but has had new bushes and shocks not that long ago. It needs four new tyres ( so I am now activly looking for the all important gold 17's and tyre packages !!) It is also on the original backbox (on average how long do these last?)
I am hoping to haggle to around £7.8k (this sound OK ?)
Are there any inherent probs I should look out for on my next visit?
Paul
