I am new to this forum and i am in the process of purchasing my first Subaru Impreza. I am currently indecisive on which one to get.. i know im going to be getting the STI most probably the PPP versions.. could anyone who owns any of the two or has owned both possibly help me out a little..Pros and cons of both would be great.

Blobeye 2003-2005/2006 (2.0 litre)
Hawkeye 2006 onwards (2.5 litre)

I want a car thats reliable and something that i can mod and get good gains from.

Have a look at the car tax bands - there is a big difference!
