Default Rear Diff

I recently found damage to the rear diff on my MY98 V4 type R and have been offered a rear diff off an "import" by a guy at work. I've found the 'TY....' transmission code relating to my car and asked him to look if its stamped on the casing of the one he has. All that he has found on the diff is the following

405A_____

314 54 (o) NS1

A
V10
B

Does any of the above mean anything to anyone? All help would be appreciated. The diff I need is a R180 with a final drive of 4.44.

Cheers
Andy.

If its from anything but a Type R, then it wont fit!!
Hence why the plated R180 diff is so expensive
