Don't bother with cheap coilovers.

Buy a good spring / strut combo instead.

Hiya - that ebay seller (JDMHONDAPARTS) in USA seems to be doing some mad prices on all kinds of stuff - he's also got a TDO5 16g turbo (Subaru Impreza WRX STi TD05 16g Turbocharger Turbo on eBay (end time 28-Feb-10 21:20:12 GMT)) for £206..... now then, either all his stuff is too good to be true, or we in UK are being fleeced somewhere along the line....? Answers on a postcard please... Chris (confused)

Andy F does good prices for turbos(20G £550 exchange). Do you want to risk a few grands worth of engine rebuild for the sake of a £300 saving over the cheap turbo?

Steer clear bought a turbo from him it's a mix and match evo Subaru turbo terrible build quality in a despute about a refund 4 months later, his returns policy is sh.t sent it back at a cost of £60 pounds still looking for the money back, I'm going to post a pick of the turbo on eBay with a description of don't buy any thing of this seller if you buy anything don't say you were not told

As stated by everyone else, don't bother with a lot of that eBay nonsense.

Support your local vendors and buy legitimate products from people who you know you can trust.

Having clicked on the link I can't find any coilovers, just some cheap ****e adjustable platforms to bodge onto standard struts so we can all see how long a 100,000mile damper copes with working 100mm out of its normal range?

Or was that just me.

Agree, they're not even coilovers. Just cheap adjustable springs that fit to standard shocks. Stay well clear. They will look something like this:

Bargains can be had off eBay, I got some brand new D2 coilovers from New Zealand for £360. Had to pay around £60 import fees, but was still under £450 delivered which I didn't think was bad. Been on the car a year and no problems so far, fitted them myself to save even more money, then just got a garage to set them up properly.
