Default Driving in Europe

I belive that when driving in europe that you need one those gay GB stickers on the raer of your car?

Dose anyone know if I have the GB on my number plate I still need the sticker?

Have found these number plates on ebay

I've driven both with, and without the GB plate, no probs so far, but it IS the law, so you risk an on the spot fine.
Yes the plates with GB are legally acceptable.
Don't forget: headlamp deflectors, High Vis yellow jackets, one per occupent, spare bulbs and warning triangle.

Got all the other stuff ready just the GB thing, will order a set of them plates and that willbe it

You can get little GB signs which are magnetic, so you just stick it on the boot no adhesive required. Might be cheaper than new plates.

I believe the Frogs don't take kindly to speed detectors.

That is correct. The LEAST you will get if caught even with one in your luggage, is to be made to run over it. The worst is up to €2000 ON THE SPOT! And if you can't pay, they either immobilise the car or take you to a bank to GET the money. It's defo no joke.

Speeding in France is a bit of a no-no at the moment, they have found out what an earner it is.............sorry, they have found out that stopping it saves lives, and there are new cameras and mobile units round every bend.
