Black looks but a pain to clean
WR Blue more common but easier to keep looking clean.

If you want to wash the car everyday, then black. If you want to have a popular colour then blue.

Black is also worth 7 points when the police play car snooker, as opposed to blue's 5.

Dave-TS could'nt make his mind up so he bought both

I went through this dilemma when ordering mine.

I also did an ask the audience & the result was 18 votes for blue/black 14 votes for WR Blue.

Chose to ignore the majority & go for the WR Blue.

I am a bit fed up with Blue

Like the black as it is a change.

Not bothered about keeping it clean, as I do this anyway

Go blue/black, a bit of dirt just shows it gets used.

Also when the sun shines on the car the blue metallic shines through which does look really good (tart comment).

Russell,

Why don't you look at the T-S's thread in the gallery. They've got one of each

Both are great colours but as the dealer said to me "the black will show all the stonechips, all the polishing swirls etc, the blue wont be as bad" suppose thats cos the black ones are harder to get hold of
Go for the Black one, be different

Seen that Josh. Just looked at a nice black one, with darkened rear lights and anthracite wheels. Looks very smart.

Driving around in the Blue Demo as we speak (well sort of !)

Got my 02 WRX in Blue/Black and it looks the canine's dangly bits It was parked on the grass at Bolney if anyone saw it. Definitely get the WR Sport/Prodrive light pods though, apart of anything else they are black as well and match in nicely.

I looked at WR Blue as my 'Sport' was in DBM and I wanted a change, but I must admit that the WR Blue is nice but nowhere near as nice as the Blue/Black.

IMHO anyway.

What about silver (just to be different)?
You'd have to change the alloys, of course!

Cheers,

I was in the same dileamor, but my dealer had one of each in stock so I could make a comparison. In my opinion WR blue is better and looks much better when dirty. The blue seats and gold wheels clash a bit with the blue/black also.

Ferrari's look great in yellow
Subaru's look great in black

But at the end of the day

A Ferrari is a Ferrari if RED
A Subaru is a Subaru if BLUE

And so I ordered WR Blue sorry to be a sheep BAAAAAAAAAAAt

Black is definately BEST.

Maybe it does show up grime and those light scratches more than the blue but that just means you are forced to take care of it better (which in turn is better for the car) and when it is clean and well waxed it gleams like no other!!

Go for it!
