Antilag on a road car will gain only a tiny bit on applying the throttle again on a gear change for example.
This is fairly effective on newage cars as the idle stepper motor flows a reasonable amount of air.
Also you get pops, bangs and flames from the exhaust which is what most people want it for.
You said in the other thread you wanted a remap and antilag which therefore means an after market ecu on your car (simtek or solaris for example). However if it is just the noise you want then it is easy to get pops and bangs on overrun when remapping the standard ecu.
Depends on your budget and future plans and what you want.
I just answered your question as best I could with the little info you gave.

No, but you can the similar sound and effect, but without the damage. It wont be switchable, so it's on all the time. Will be too much for most people.

Otherwise you are looking at a simtek or solaris ecu with switchable antilag.

Dear Mr Jolly Green Monster,
I have a PPP on my 08 STI, I really like the idea of the Litchfield cold air induction kit. Can you re-map the PPP ECU to take advantage of this, or would I need a new ECU?
Also, while I've hopefully got your attention, would it be possible to have different Maps on each of the SI drive settings, for instance "I" for 95 Octane when you can't find the good stuff, "S" for more mid range less top end (like a WRX), and "S Sharp" for woah mumma the full monty?
I know it is a cake and eat it kind of question, but.........

Yes.. although it may take more than one meeting to sort it as ideally it needs 95ron in the tank and 99ron in the tank to be able to set it up.. it will take a little bit of playing around but yes no problem.
Drop me a PM if you want to discuss further etc
Thanks

Hi Simon,
can the whole "popping and banging" cause long term damage? Does the exhaust need to be de-catted?
plus, can the "s mode" on the 2008+STI be programmed for maximum performance (like s#), with the s# mode giving same performance but added antilag.

Sounds like the exhausts fell off
If you do it, do it for real and live with the cost implications
