Question Blobeye Morette Rear Lights

I've had the above lights fitted to my car for the best part of a year now and the circular units have filled up with condensation. They get especially bad after i wash the car or it rains as the water gathers in the bottom of each recess. I've stripped them down and looked at them and there's a small hole in the bottom of each circular fitting which is allowing the moisture to get in. I'm going to dry them out and cover the holes which should solve the problem.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Thinking about it as I type when I first got them I stripped them down and then put them back together. When I put them back together I put the hole to the bottom thinking this would stop the water getting into them. I'm now thinking I should have put the holes to the top to let the condensation escape. What are your thoughts/experiences?
